The Ultimate HQ

To attract modern international businesses to move to The City of Moreton Bay, Lovework Studio teamed up with the council and UniSC on an ambitious campaign. UniSC had an amazing semi-industrial lab space located in their brand new campus in Petrie that needed a tenant. It was our collective mission to find the best possible business for the space as a signal to the world that the region is awesome.  Lovework Studio led the campaign in partnership with Little Rogue and Gus Balbontin.

We created a competition where the right business could win the ultimate HQ in the city of Moreton Bay: 5 years rent free, + $250, 000 for a fit-out and support to get setup. We ran a digital campaign supported by a series of physical events, initiatives and an experience safari for the shortlisted businesses. Over 40 innovative businesses nationally and internationally applied and 1 winner was ultimately selected - Pultron Composites, a NZ based construction and technology business.

The design references architectural blueprints, grid lines, measurements and a bright green location point. These elements are used flexibly throughout the campaign, overlapping and integrated into the video content.

For the hero launch video Gus Balbontin, a known tech entrepreneur (and mate) introduced the competition. This was filmed using drones and handheld camera by Avenue Crew, with concepts, storyboards and direction by Little Rogue.

For some extra chaos and lighthearted content we introduced humanoid and dog robots to the shoot and used little snippets on socials scattered throughout the campaign.

It was an epic campaign with multiple moving parts, collaborations and connections. We met so many amazing people and business leaders along the way and are incredibly pleased that an amazing innovative business has found their Ultimate HQ in the City of Moreton Bay.

As a focus point for the campaign we created a website that explained clearly the ins and out of the competition, showcased the space and highlighted benefits of the local area and region that would be attractive to businesses. We also provided case-studies of existing innovative businesses across the region with quotes and short snippets of video content.
